Volunteers are needed for the PTO sponsored Graduation Party on June 7th! Help is needed on both June 7th and 8th. Please click here to sign up. The graduation party is for students and volunteers only.Sign-ups are now available for the 8th Grade Graduation party. Monday, June 5: Great America
Tuesday June 6: Team Day (Great America Rain Date); iPad and accessories return
Wednesday, June 7: AM Graduation Practice; 8th Grade Graduation Party at WJHS: 1:00 – 3:10 PM
Thursday, June 8: AM Graduation Practice, Yearbooks, 11:20 AM Dismissal for 8th grade only. Ticket distribution to students. Four per a student, no registration needed. *This is the last day of school for 8th grade only.*

A decision on whether social dance will be able to be held will be made later in the school year. An email communication will be sent to parents regarding this matter. Thank you for your understanding.
Social Dance is a long-standing tradition at WJHS for 7th graders. It is a professionally taught traditional dance instruction class. Students will learn dance etiquette, traditional types of dance such as the FoxTrot, Waltz, Cha Cha, etc and the accompanying social graces/etiquette.

In D39, parents pay for enrichment opportunities, not the administration. Parents are asked to contribute to the iGNITE Fund, the enrichment fund that pays for visiting speakers, traveling STEM experiments and field trips that enrich our students’ educational experience! The Enrichment committee is pleased to offer all of these again to students after taking a hiatus during the Covid pandemic.

Yearbooks sales for the 2022/23 school year have closed!
Yearbooks will be distributed on the last day of class for 7th and 8th grade.
If you’re not sure you ordered one, check your email for an email from : yearbookordercenter@herffjones.com
If you forgot to order, there will be yearbooks available for cash. Please bring a check made out to WJHS PTO or cash in the amount of $30 to the front office, on the last day of your child’s school.
