Civics and Safety News

HAPPY 2019-2020 WJHS FAMILIES!

DROP OFF – We would like to invite everybody to drive carefully and patiently when in “school zone”. Please proceed all the way to the end of our Drop-Off line when pulling in.  Try to make your stop as quick and as safe as possible.  Please refrain yourself from getting out of the drop-off line, obey the school rules and have respect for other drivers/parents.  You may experience some traffic congestion on Locust Road, which may slow down the morning drop-offs.  We encourage carpooling, school bus transportation, and when possible, walking or biking to school. Please consider the Pace bus as an alternative, especially during winter.  Students have a discounted monthly rate, it is safe and always on time.  Please remind your children when walking or biking to school, to cross only at the designated crossing points.  We know that wearing a helmet is not a “fancy” thing, but it is very important and we encourage ALL bikers to wear one.
